Jericho Ministries is a Christian non-profit organization in Tegucigalpa, Honduras which began as a result of a desire from God placed in the heart of a missionary to rescue those trapped in prostitution.  The ministry is comprised of a rehab center in the country, facilities in the city which house the Elementary and High School for the women’s children, a store to sell the products made by Jericho women, and the offices.   Recently the Lord has led the ministry to reach out specifically to the children of those who are trapped in prostitution or who are at high risk for entering prostitution (De Alto Riesgo or DAR program).  Our prayer is that these women and children will come to know their worth in Christ and become all that He has called them to be through discipleship, formal education, practical skills as well as opportunities to serve others who are in need.   As you meet these precious women and their children, we believe you will be blessed by witnessing the power of God at work in their lives,  breaking the generational chains of prostitution, sexual abuse, poverty, and various addictions that have plagued their families
